A boating safety certificate is required for all boaters who were born AFTER September 1st, 1993 when operating any motorized vessel, any wind-blown vessel over 14 feet in length, or any personal watercraft (PWC) on State waters in Texas.

Tips to Stay Safe
ALWAYS have a good 'Lookout' passenger to help the driver navigate the water and watch for unexpected dangers.
ALWAYS wear a proper personal floation device (lifejacket) while underway.
ALWAYS respect the water, and remain aware of surroundings/ people/ location.
ALWAYS stay educated and up to date on saftey procedures and laws, AND bring your boater saftey certificate (if applicable) with you when underway.
Everything's bigger in Texas, even the sun! Bring some sunscreen to keep you and your family safe.
If you and your family will be out for a while, bring something to snack on. Food helps maintain energy levels so you can enjoy all day fun!
Although our boats are not meant for high speed skiing or wakeboarding, an inflatable tube is a fantastic way to entertain the kids.

One of the most commom ailments out on the water? Dehydration. Keep plenty of fresh water with you and stay hydrated!
